Browns of Richmond are a car dealership with a difference. From the moment you walk into the building, it is not the standard approach. It feels more like walking into an airport lounge or serene cafe. The whole experience was refreshing in comparison to the stereotypical generic car sales often experienced elsewhere.

The staff are welcoming and friendly and there is no hard sell. I went in on a bit of a fact finding mission and to get a value for my car to help me decide whether to upgrade it or not. Despite the possibility that they would not be getting a sale that day, both Andy the salesman and Tim, one of the owners, spent lots of time with me discussing my needs and thoughts, my potential options and gave me a few test drives to help me make my decision. They were completely transparent in explaining how they came to the valuation figure for my car and explained and showed me everything.

In the end, I did decide to purchase a car from them and the whole process was smooth. I was changing from a Tesla to a Tesla and their knowledge of the cars is very detailed. The ease of transfer of ownership and getting the car set up on the app was seamless and even though I know Tesla’s, they still spent the time at handover to make sure I was happy with the set up and the new features of this particular car.

All in all, a very pleasant experience and they are an asset to the local community. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone or use them in the future.
